“La certosa di Parma” a movie directed by Cinzia TH Torrini, starring Marie-Josée Croze, Rodrigo Guirao Díaz,
Hippolyte Girardot, based on the homonomyous novel wrote by Stendhal, required an extensive use of visual
effects.
Most of them were green screen shots, while others were created to extend real sets or remove
unwanted modern elements.
In fact the movie was entirely shot in the real city of Parma, hence many modern elements were totally
replaced by CG elements.
