For the movie “Christine”, directed by Stefania Sandrelli, Gianluca Dentici oversaw approximately 150 visual effects shots for RESET VFX. Many scenes were blue and green screens, and a spectacular panorama of Paris in 1300 entirely in CGI was also created.
Certain shots were also complex because of digital nature elements also rendered and employed to populate the scenography. Thanks to a meticulous supervision, the effects achieved are realistically integrated with 35mm footage.
For CGI backlot a strong work on texturing was done to increase the realism of 3D models, as well as lighting, based mainly on HDR datas captured during set supervising and used for Image base lighting in post. Gianluca Dentici also partecipated along with dop Paolo Carnera at the color correction phase at Cinecitta studios.
