SET SUPERVISING Supervision on set, as well as pre-production, is crucial for visual effect shots. This is why each work is approached with an in-depth study during pre-production aimed to prevent all kind of problems related to the shots that will be subsequently treated in post-production. During the shooting Gianluca Dentici works closely with director, DOP and camera operator and records technical datas for each shots on his VFX Logs, including set lighting info, dimensions, camera setup, positions, lenses, and many other relevant informations useful during post production. Besides he proposes also special shooting systems or visual ideas that would be more effective for the shot, as well as camera positions and movements. He is also responsable to coordinating second units crews and set surveying for matchmoving and camera tracking. Gianluca Dentici is equipped with professional tools to recover set datas, such as laser meter, inclinometer, lightprobe, optical distortion grids, sfx color chart, markers for matchmoving, vfx log, digital camera, laptop computers with calculators (also for stereographic productions) and motion control softwares. |
