Gianluca Dentici has an extensive experience on many movies and TV productions as lead digital compositor and vfx supervisor. Thanks to a depth knowledge in visual effects and special shooting techniques, film, digital and stereographic, is able to provide valuable support for productions, by studying and planning set needs, supervising the shooting and visual effects in post production.

He works side by side with clients during pre-production to create a technical analysis of each shot, including visual proposals, shooting techniques and a detailed description of what will be done in post-production. For complex projects he also uses storyboard and/or animatics to pre-visualize actions and effects to achieve.

The constant research of the latest digital technologies, connections with foreign colleagues and other professionals in the industry, allows him to be always on the cutting edge on methodologies and techniques for production and post production; Besides he keeps in touch with software houses to be up to date on latest market trends for digital compositing, CGI and Digital Intermediate tools, as well as 3D realistic rendering engines, in order to assess their implementation for CGI workflows.

Gianluca Dentici is also certified by "Mark Roberts Motion Control Camera Ltd." the prestigious english company that manifactures best motion controlled systems and is available to previsualize and operate vfx shots using motion control rigs for movies and commercials.

Thanks to many partnerships with film and CGI schools, academies and universities, he keeps on research and development for the computer graphics world, in order to create innovative tools to help and speed up CGI and post production processes.

Gianluca Dentici collaborates with major practical effects companies and technicians during pre-production phases to carefully plan scenes which include both practicals and digital effects. By supervising the entire process from shooting to post production, he is solely responsible of the final result, overseeing finishing on flm or other digital media and ensure the best quality.

Gianluca Dentici is available as a consultant for film productions and can provide a technical team of digital artists or follow the work to other companies. Gianluca Dentici is a member of A.T.I.C. (Italian Association of technicians of the movie industry), S.C.S.A. (Study Centre for Scenic Arts) as post-production expert and of I.3D.S. (International 3D society).
